There’s many places to choose from now and it may get quite stressful once you start looking and wondering where is the best place to buy your domain, purchase to host your website, what CMS you will use, how you will edit and create the website, a business email and all the costs involved.

We normally recommend either Square or Shopify if you already use their services. If you don’t already have a parter a great alternative is buying a domain through either Namecheap or Bluehost then host the domain there and use WordPress. I would then buy a Google Workspace to for your small businesses email or alternatively purchase the email through Namecheap or Bluehost. The interface isn’t as good but it’s easy to use and accessible on phone or desktop.

It will then be a good idea to purchase a theme so you have to worry more about adding written and visual content rather than creating the whole website. WordPress has an abundance more features and I would recommend using their platform over others.

Overall I think creating a good website from scratch would take around $600 for 3 years and perhaps 150 to 200 hours of your time depending on whether you will write up SEO friendly content and have the equipment and expertise to create the visual content accounting for different dimensions you need to suit your website.
